Snicamus Prime's color commissions

Commissions are: Open!

Hello, thank you so much for your interest in my commissions! I am a self-taught digital artist that specializes in colors.

IMPORTANT HEADS-UP
Due to stuff that goes on in my own personal life (school, work, other commissions, etc.), I will usually take a smidge of time longer than other artists to complete a commission. I will try to make sure I don't take any longer than a week depending on the size of the commission and I will notify all my clients if any delays need to be made. Thank you for understanding.

General Rules

  1. Payment is done upfront only via PayPal.

  2. Please provide descriptions of what you want for your commission. Communication is key!

  3. I will offer 5 revisions per phase (flats, rendering, finishing touches) for no additional cost and I will ensure that my client is aware of each phase. After those 15 total revisions are exhausted additional revisions will cost an extra $10.

  4. If you wish to cancel your commission please notify me. You will have 5 days after work has begun on your commission to cancel your order and receive a complete refund. Once that 5-day grace period is over however, I will not accept cancellations or refunds.

  5. As an artist offering my services I reserve the right to decline any work I do not feel comfortable with, without providing my reasons. I also reserve the right to cancel your commission for whatever reason, and a refund will be issued.

  6. Only 1 slot per commissioner.

  7. Communication will be done via E-mail and I will send the finalized, high resolution image through there.

  8. The commission will be considered officially finished, after you confirm the final product has no more modifications to be made.

  9. The commission will be considered officially finished, if I don't receive a confirmation from you that the commission has nothing else to be modified after 1 month from my last message.

  10. I must be provided with the name (online or otherwise) of the artist whose work I am coloring in order to properly credit them.

As the commissioner, you have permission to use your commission product in any way and display it in any way as long as:

  1. It's only for personal use.

  2. There is NO INVOLVEMENT with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) or cryptocurrencies of any kind.

  3. there is NO INVOLVEMENT with applications for Artificial Intelligence generated images.

  4. I am credited as "Snicamus Prime" for my colors alongside the line artists, with my signature remaining alongside theirs on the actual piece, and linking to either my Twitter, Tumblr, or this very site.

  5. As an artist I have the right to display the finished product on any of my social media, as self promotion or as a commission example; however if you request the commission to be private or I don't receive an answer regarding the publication, it will remain private.

  6. As an artist offering my services, I don't own the rights to the characters in the product.

I will NOT color any work involving:

  1. NSFW

  2. Fetishes

  3. Nudity (partial stuff like revealing outfits will be considered)

  4. Intense gore

  5. Offensive and hateful content

  6. Underage x adult ships

  7. Political stuff

  8. or just anything I do not feel comfortable with

With all of that out of the way, let's get to the fun stuff now shall we :)

Full Piece Color Commissions:
30 USD

A standard, non-sequential full piece featuring intricate compositions, used usually as covers or posters.

Interior Pages Commission:
20 USD per page

I also offer commissions to color interior comic pages! These are pieces of sequential art that will tell a story or convey action, and are used in comics and manga. I will require a full script of your pages as well as any additional reference material I may need
NOTE: Only 5 pages per commission slot

Peep the Styles!

I offer two distinct styles to my color work, which I will describe here for you to choose how you commission me!

Style AStyle B
Backgrounds are rendered in more textured, watercolor or painterly styles. Characters are rendered with harsh cell shading and highlights. A variety of effects like glows and the like are used to further enhance the rendering. Overlay textures are applied to give the overall piece a nice, textured look.Using a (slightly modified) version of DC Comic's official 375 color palette, this style emulates the feel of 90s comic book coloring. Bright colors, cell shading, and highlights on characters. Simplistic background rendering with a particle "spray can" style brush. A halftone overlay is applied overtop the rendering to fully tie the full piece together.
